Whether it's working with a high school soccer player looking to make varsity or a weekend warrior training for a marathon, the satisfaction of seeing them grow and succeed is immeasurable. Every athlete has their own unique goals and challenges, and it's my job to create personalized plans that push them to the next level. Watching my clients transform into stronger, faster, and more confident versions of themselves is nothing short of inspiring. And the best part? It's a mutually rewarding experience - my athletes motivate me just as much as I motivate them.

When it comes to your health and fitness journey, having a professional athletic trainer can be a game-changer. But how do you know if they are the right fit for you and your goals? When selecting a trainer, consider their experience and education. Do they have a background in the specific area you want to improve in, such as strength training or endurance? It is important to also find someone who listens to your unique needs and goals, and can provide personalized plans to help you achieve them. A great trainer will keep you motivated and hold you accountable to your commitments.
What is the difference between training and exercise?
Exercising is an activity that's done to maintain your overall health in the moment. On the other hand, training is a method of exercising that is done with a specific purpose or end goal in mind. Know the difference and get ahead of your fitness game.
Is cardio considered training?
The answer is yes! Cardio, short for cardiovascular exercise, is an essential part of any training regimen. It is an exercise that increases your heart rate and gets your blood pumping, delivering oxygen and nutrients to your muscles. When done regularly, it improves your cardiovascular health, endurance, and helps you burn calories. Whether you're a competitive athlete or someone who wants to stay in shape, cardio should be a part of your routine. So, the next time you hit the gym, don't forget to include some cardio in your workout!
What is Speed Training?
Speed training is a fundamental concept in sports and fitness. It refers to a series of exercises that aim to increase one's speed and improve their overall performance. The primary goal of speed training is to enhance an athlete's ability to execute high-intensity movements in a shorter amount of time, and with higher efficiency. This training can include various exercises, such as sprints, shuttle runs, ladder drills, and plyometrics. While speed training is vital for athletes competing in fast-paced sports like basketball or football, it's just as important for everyday fitness enthusiasts who want to improve their performance levels. With consistent and dedicated speed training, individuals can significantly enhance their overall athleticism and physical abilities.
